1. Who this Policy covers
This Privacy Policy is the policy of the VECTOR platform for Request, Drive, Business, Chair, Stylist, and Support. It covers riders, drivers, food and drink couriers, store staff, Chair clients, barbers and hairstylists, and the people who write to Support. It applies in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and any trip, delivery, or house call that starts or ends there.
VECTOR is operated from St. Petersburg, Florida. Privacy requests are made inside Support, which is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
2. Information we collect
Account data: name, username, email, phone, password hash, and the app you signed into. Request, Drive, Business, and Support keep separate sessions even when the same person uses more than one.
Trip and order data: pickup, drop-off, route, fare quote, product (One, XL, Cab, minivan, van), wait time, cancellation, and, for a store order, the items, prices, photos, and ingredient or allergen notes the store entered.
Location: the device’s live GPS while the app is open, the map pin if you move the map to choose a place, and, for a driver who is online, heading, speed, and accuracy. We use that to match, navigate, and show the other party the car. We do not sell precise geolocation.
Driver Trust file: license and vehicle facts, plate, color, year, seven camera photos, Florida or home-state TNC attestations, and the result of a background check and driving-history report. Photos stay on the driver account so Support can open them. They are images for identity review, not a face-geometry database.
Payments: a card token and last four digits from the payment processor. We do not store a full card number or CVC on our servers.
Support and safety: messages, call metadata, and live captions from a voice call. Ratings, compliments, and complaints. A file escalates to VECTOR Safety (L3) when the guidelines say it must.
Device and log data: app version, crash logs, and the seat (Request, Drive, Business, or Support) so a session stays in the right app.
3. How we use it
To run the trip or delivery you asked for, to show the fare before you confirm, to pay the driver, and to let a store accept an order and call a driver when it is ready.
To decide whether a driver may go online under the driver rules for the state where they are working, and to keep them offline if the file is incomplete or a disqualifier appears.
To staff Support, investigate a safety report, and enforce the Community Guidelines, including a pause or a reactivation.
To meet insurance, airport, tax, and legal process. We do not use trip history to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell it.
4. Who we share it with
The other party to the trip: a rider sees the driver’s name, photo, vehicle, color, plate, and rating. A driver sees the rider’s first name, pickup, and drop-off. A store sees the order and the delivery address the rider chose, not the rider’s payment card.
Support staff, and VECTOR Safety when a case is escalated. Staff see the account, the ratings, the compliments and complaints, and the open trip.
The background-check vendor and the state that holds the driving record, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Insurance and, if a trip involves an airport that requires it, that airport authority. A payment processor. A cloud host that stores the database.
A regulator, insurer, or court when the law requires it. We do not share with data brokers.
5. How long we keep it
An active account is kept while it is open. Trip records, including completed, cancelled, and denied trips, are kept for at least four years so a fare dispute, an insurance claim, or a safety review can be reconstructed, and longer if a claim is open.
Driver photos and TNC documents are kept while the driver is approved and for four years after they leave, unless a safety case requires longer. A background-check report is kept only as long as the vendor contract and the Fair Credit Reporting Act allow.
Support tickets stay with the account. A paused account is not deleted. The person can ask for reactivation, and can separately ask for deletion when the law allows. We may refuse deletion of a record we must keep for safety, insurance, or tax.
6. Security
Sessions are stored per app, not in one shared login. Staff tools that list every rider and driver are limited to Support. Uploaded photos are size-capped. Passwords are not stored in clear text. No method of storage is perfect. If a breach of personal information occurs, we will notify the people and the attorneys general the applicable state breach law requires, including the Florida Information Protection Act, the New York SHIELD Act, and Massachusetts 201 CMR 17.00 where those residents are affected.
7. Rights we give everyone
No matter the state, you may ask Support to: confirm whether we hold personal information about you; receive a copy; correct it; delete it, subject to the retention rules above; opt out of any sale or targeted advertising (we do not do either); and appeal a refusal. We answer within 45 days, with one 45-day extension if the request is complex, which matches the strictest of the state clocks in force. We will not charge a fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. We will not deny a trip because you exercised a right.
A driver may dispute a background-check item under the Fair Credit Reporting Act before we treat it as final. An authorized agent may write for a California resident if they prove authority.
8. Children
VECTOR is not for anyone under 18. A driver must also meet the higher age the state of the trip requires (19 in Florida, 20 in Washington, 21 in Virginia). We do not knowingly create an account for a child. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
9. Changes
We will post changes on this page and change the date. The date of this version is September 27, 2026. If a change materially reduces a privacy right, we will say so in the app before it applies to trips booked after that notice.
10. Chair and Stylist
Chair is the client app. Stylist is the barber and hairstylist app. They do not share a sign-up. A client email cannot open Stylist, and a stylist email cannot open Chair.
On Chair we collect the door address, the live GPS used to measure miles and minutes, the service, the time, the card charge, and messages or calls with Support. We show the client the stylist’s name, photo, trade, license state, distance, and travel time. We do not show the stylist’s home address.
On Stylist we collect the professional’s name, phone, photo, trade, weekly hours, the phone’s live GPS while the day board is open, and the state license: state, number, expiration, and a photo of the license. That license is shown to Support and is checked against the state in the client’s door address before a booking is allowed.
A house-call record is kept with the account for the same period as a trip, so a payment dispute or a safety report can be reconstructed. The client pays the service and any travel over eight miles. The professional keeps 70 percent. VECTOR keeps 30 percent. Card data is a token and the last four digits only.
11. Food and drink delivery
A food or drink order collects the store, the items, the prices, the ingredient and allergen notes the store entered, the delivery address, and the courier assigned after the store releases the order.
A courier who signs up in the Drive delivery section delivers food and drinks only. Ride requests are not offered to that account. We collect how they will deliver — bicycle, electric scooter, moped, motorcycle, or car — a photo of that vehicle, a government photo ID, and a background-check consent. Florida does not require fingerprints for this work. A motorcycle also requires a driver-license photo and an insurance photo. A car also requires a driver license, insurance, and vehicle registration. A bicycle, electric scooter, or moped does not.
The store sees the order and the delivery address. The courier sees the store, the handoff, and the door. The customer sees the courier’s first name and vehicle type once a courier is assigned. We do not sell the order, the allergen notes, or the courier’s documents.
These pages are VECTOR’s rules for the platform. They are written to be followed. They are not a private legal opinion, and a statute that gives you a right this contract cannot waive still controls. Privacy requests go to Support, which is open 24 hours a day.
